BayCon - San Francisco/San Jose Area May 23 - 26

Anyone else going to BayCon this year? May 23-26 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara. I'll be hanging out in the dealers' room for most of the con helping some friends.

I'll make a point to do that! I've also about 85% decided to get a space in Artist's Alley and make my beaded lanyards there (and sell some, too, if I'm lucky).

Saw TheIT there today - got in around 3:30, was set up by 4 and had about 7 or 8 visitors who stopped and chatted. Made sales (thanks go to TheIT and her lovely friend Melody Rondeau) enough today to cover the cost of registration and the table fee. W00t!

The theme of the convention is pirates and lots of folk are in costume. I don't have any pirate wear, myself, so I'll probably wear my LACon tee shirt and jeans tomorrow. Maybe add a bandanna and hoop earring... :D
