Blog Comment Blitz - June 2008

Who: ???? Other than me, I mean... :D

What: Leave at least one comment at each other's blogs over a one-week period.

Where: Online. The URLs list will be at the end of this post.

When: June 6th (Fri) through June 15th (Sun). We'll start sooner if we have enough people signed up sooner.

Why: Why not? And to find new readers for our blogs, and to find new blogs for us to read. :) And because it's fun. And because we all love having comments on our blogs. :)

How:
Sign up by posting a response in this thread. Please indicate the name of your blog and the blog URL in your post. Please make sure your blog is of general enough interest - or that there are at least a couple of recent posts that are of general enough interest - that anyone on AW will find something to comment on. I'm looking for around 15 participants total.
Start commenting on June 6th at each of the blogs on the list (excluding your own). Leave at least one comment per blog, on any post you like. Comments that are supportive, constructive, and/or witty are much appreciated. [For anyone participating in an AW blogchain or other blogging event: comments in those other events do not count as Blitz comments. Blitz comments must be created separately.]
Finish commenting by or before June 15th. Then come back to this thread and leave a note saying that you've finished.By signing up, you are committing to commenting on 14 blogs over a 10-day period (June 6-15). Please note that this will take both both time and effort. If you aren't sure that you'll be able to do it, please don't ask to be added to the list. Thanks!

misslissy, yes, a minimum of one comment total for each blog. You can do more - I usually comment on two or three posts on each blog just because and for no other reason - but one comment per blog is the requirement. :) Not one per day. One for the week and a bit. :)

Oh, wow! We've got sign-ups faster than I thought we would. We're at fourteen peeeeps now, so we have a choice to make. We can either start really really early (as soon as a 15th person signs up since that was the goal number), or we can let the signups continue and potentially have, like 30 people on our list. Well, yeah, I'm going to cut it off at 15 (or whatever number pops in before I close it) and we'll get started as soon as that happens. But the finishing date will remain the same.

If there are that many people who still want to play after this is closed, we can start up another comment blitz group. There's no law that says there can only be one a month. :)

I'm done. I substituted one blog for another by that author, as the original was in a niche I couldn't comment on (PM me if that's a problem). A few of the blogs didn't give me a message when I submitted my comment, so I can only assume the comment is in moderation. Prod me if that isn't the case.
