Seeking Opinions: Writing Blog

I'm looking for opinions on my writing blog, Into the Forest (http://intotheforest.wordpress.com). I think it's pretty good but since it's my blog I may be missing something (objectivity and all) and although it's been up for a while and traffic is starting to climb a little, I don't get many comments. So, tell me what it's like from a reader's point of view. I appreciate all responses.

Only read a few posts, but I think you've got a good thing going here. I was interested in what I was reading (especially when I saw you like House...you're very smart, it's a great show). I like that you keep your readers up to date with your challenges and what you're up to with your stories...anyone who's interesting in what your writing will love that.

Also, mentioning people who have expierence in the biz, like Nathan Bransford (I read his blog too), shows that you are very active and are using what you learn not only to help yourself, but also to provide guidance to your readers, so I say, bravo, well done.

You blog is well designed and potentially interesting. The onyl thing I can say is that you don;t reach out to readers. e.g. address comment to them, ask questions, tell them what is coming up, ask them to participate in things (surveys, contests etc).
