Miranda Prather faked a hate crime?

Discussing it in the PA thread would be a distraction, but surely the topic can be Taken Outside, much as Shemp's death was? What are people's thoughts on this?

...re the Prather situation, and not a whole lot has been said about it. It pretty much is what it is, and beyond that people can draw whatever inferences they'd like. Some of us veteran PA battlers felt that it would be inappropriate to get into too much speculation/comment about this very sad situation. Maybe others will shed more light, but that's about all I would feel comfortable saying about it.

It's old news, and probably shouldn't go any further. The subject matter has nothing to do with PA's business policies.

There was more to the original incident than is in the Lubbock report. Posts about it were removed from the PA thread because the information might have damaging consequences for someone. Maybe that should happen this time, too.

Ms. Prathers reported exploits took place before her involvement with PA. This subject matter has been removed before for valid reasons. And probably will be again, as soon as the mods catch sight of it.
