Tired of reading blogs about people obsessed with writing in their blog about blogging? Wonder how it is that blogs go back months, years, decades...how about a blog that goes back decades, centuries, millenia??

Here's a blog by someone writing about things that nobody has ever heard of talking about things that nobody cares about. But...I'd like to think...it's funny.

It also hasn't been updated in a while b/c it never really generated traffic. But I'd love to spread the word and, if enough people read it and pay attention, then I'll get back into it.

Thanks for the question LM! In this context reviews would be good. Obviously, since the blog hasn't been updated recently it's not an announcement about a new blog.

Tell me this.

I sent this blog to a lot of friend and colleagues. I had a ton of fun writing it. I thought it was original. Some enjoyed it...a lot either didn't 'get it' or just didn't seem to care. (these were good friends...they would've told me if it was really bad.) The question is: is this just too esoteric or absurd to get any traction in the blogosphere? Is it insulting anyone? (I don't know how b/c the satire is not directed to anyone specific, because the character who is writing it is the one being made fun of.) Or, horror of horrors, is it just not funny. (P-SHAW!!)

When you are ready to announce it, you can post in the AW Writers Blog (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22139) thread (it's not just for announcing new blogs, but any blog belonging to an AW member) and post daily updates in the Did You Update Your Blog Today thread (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48019).

In terms of traffic, I'd suggest you read the So You Want To Start A New Blog (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105578) thread - lots of advice in gaining traffic. :)
