Has anyone here written for The Writer recently?

I've been offered an assignment/fee that's low for me, working out to .22/word.

The website says they pay between $300 - $500 for anywhere from 600 - 3,500 words.

Before I negotiate the best possible rate from the editor, I thought I'd ask here if anyone has experience with this publication.
