Do you mean the cost of the book, or all the factors involved (advances, illustrator, editor, setup, advertising, etc.)?

If you are asking how much you will get paid, it varies with the publisher and the sales.
One could offer you a large advance. Another might offer no or a very small advance.
Royalites vary as well. I have seen some places that offer 10% and some that offer 80%.
Also note that the amount you get for an advance is a "prepayment" of royalities, hence the name. At least that is how advances have been explained to me.

The size of the advance depends on the publisher and the type of children's book. It can range from zero to around $7,500. At most mainstream publishers it will be in the $2,000-$5,000 range. How much you eventually make depends on how many copies are sold.
Legitimate mainstream publishers will never offer more than a 10% royalty rate.

I am new to this, and was wondering what the standards were in the industry. Also, if you can recommend any publishers or agents that would be great.
Thank you.
PS... You're website it very colorful! :D

You would have to pick up the writers market or do an online search. It all depends on the type of book you've written etc.
