yes i am.
i have been writing seriously for four years. i have worked on several projects and have learned something about the craft every time. i recently started my new project more confident than i have ever been before.
the story is gripping, imho. i am happy with my writing. i believe i have found my voice.
but it seems i can't ever be truly happy with anything i write. the problem now is, the piece is so damn short.
i will not spoil it by adding stuff. the story is good but it isnt a novel, it's not even a short story.
i just want to moan. i like what i have writen, i just wish there was more of it to like.
any encouragement you might be able to offer...

Sounds good to me. If that's the story, that's the story :) Now keep those wheels turning and start another...

Some magazines print short shorts or flash fiction. You could try duotrope and see if any fit what you've written. Duotrope is a search engine for magazines FYI. You can select the criteria you need and it'll tell you what magazines accept fiction in that genre/length.

I wish I could write short stories and more regular novels, the things most people like to read, but it seems I'm mainly suited to writing serials and really long things. Oh well. Some of us are better suited to certain types of writing. Your story may be short, but short writing is better than the things we never bother writing at all. :)
Isn't it great to find one's voice? I think I finally started to hit mine several years ago.

Well done. If you're that happy with it, I'd say you're done. xD

I agree 100 percent if the story is good it doesn't matter that it is not a novel, if it is how the story should be told.

Stories are like people. Some are long, some are short, some are thin, some are fat. If you change the color of the ink and/or paper, they can even be black, white, green, yellow, and pink!
The moral is let your story be what it is. If the story is finished and you are satisfied with it, that is enough.
