Seriously, though, I was just reading an article about commercials that take themselves way to goddamn seriously, and the second to last was one of the Halo 3 commercials:

Seriously, how could a game so mediocre...warrant a commercial that takes itself so seriously?

Though I am all for taking games seriously when they are serious games. But...not all of them are serious games. And not serious games being treated like serious business is seriously unfun.
