I am just wondering if anyone here has a decent list of agents and producers who accept queries. I used to have a good sized list which I got fore free from subscribing to Screen Writer Magazine, but I have lost that file and seeing as I never received a single issue of the magazine and they refused to look into the issue or refund me I honestly cannot see myself subscribing again.
Thanks a lot if anyone does have such a list though, it will be greatly appreciated.

They have been very good to me and welcome new writers.

Come on writers step up and give up some of the goods.

I believe that the wga makes a notation which signatory agents accept queries. I don't think they do it for prod co. signatories, though.
Creative Screenwriting has put together a lists of prod cos and agents who accept unsolicited queries. They charge $19.95. You can purchase it on the site.
The Hollywood Creative Directory (HCD) and Hollywood Representation Directory are good resources - they have print directories as well as online subscriptions. They're not cheap, but they are worth the money. These are the resources that people in the business use. You will need to do your own research as to who on these lists accepts queries. A 30 second phone call is all it takes to find out.
This is one area where you may need to pay to get the information you are looking for and may need to do some legwork on your own. Even if you find a free resource you still need to do some research so that you are targeting production companies that are a good fit for your project.
Be sure that your script is ready to be queried before you begin querying. It has been my experience that more often than not, writers query scripts too soon.

I've been in scriptwriting for 3 years, all the free lists and prodcos have disappeared. If you want information, you pretty much have to pay or do massive research as DevEx says.

I love the HCD, although it is a daunting list to dig through. Mandy.com is even worse, i.e. much more extensive, and with less ability to search effectively. It is free, though.
I took the plunge and paid the fee for ScriptPIMP (and entered the contest for free!). They have the same list but their search tools are quite good - you can search for who accepts new writers, for instance, or who accepts what genres which you can't do with HCD. And you can store your list of queried prodcos and agents which you can't do with the others.
There are others, like InkTip and Movie Bytes, which are OK in that they offer extensive listings of 'casting' calls for writers. I've heard of Creative Screenwriting's listing and that it may be good.
*insert cynic's view, skip if you're offended - I worry when a prodco has an open submissions mailbox. They're essentially saying, "Sure - you unoptioned losers can drop in at anytime of the day or night, stuff whatever bulls&^% you've been writing in this box here, and at 9AM every morning we turn on the incinerator..."

that is why I gave up three of my personal nuggets in regard to leads for prodco's that accept query. I was hoping other writers here would reciprocate.

This might surprise you, but we're not holding out on you. It's not like we have some spectacular list that we keep as a big secret so poor little up and coming writers have to stumble through the cold their scripts in hand.
The best list that I know of outside of HCD is scriptpimp. Neither are free. CS magazine used to give out a prodco every issue but they stopped doing that about two years ago. All my information is way outdated. A lot of those companies don't even exist any more and the rest aren't looking for the same thing they were last time so the list is useless.
I don't have a free list to give, so stop pretending like we do.

A film writer is a website where there is a list . Not much about 30 to 40. You can try . It is free .

Personal nuggets? These are three companies that anyone who has ever queried has probably heard of at some point in time. These aren't the names and e-mails of Producers or Managers you know who are willing to take your referrals. THAT would be a personal nugget.
But if you don't think so, fine how about:
-WME
-CAA
-ICM
Are my three "personal nuggets" for you.
This might surprise you, but we're not holding out on you. It's not like we have some spectacular list...
Well actually I do. But I am holding out, you don't give out help or answers for the sole purpose of expecting others to give you something in return...

Now. I'm done with my rant. If you made it through all that, here are some botiques for your consideration in no particular order:
-Benderspink
-3 Arts
-Anonymous Content
-Brillstein
-Category 5 Entertainment
-Circle of Confusion
-Code Entertainment
-Evolution Entertainment
-Gotham Group
-Heroes and Villains Entertainment
-Kapplan-Perrone Entertainment
-Kritzer Levine Wilkins Entertainment
-Lenhoff & Lenhoff
-Madhouse Entertainment
-Management 360
-Mosaic
-MXN
-New Wave Entertainment
-Principato-Young
And no you can't have my list.

Killbox, are you a little bitter?
Oh and FYI , there were personal because Georgia at Zero Gravity Management personally emailed me and requested a read as well as Ray Markovich with Parallel media. Do these names make it more of a personal nugget for you?
