Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here writes for HubPages and if you are happy with them. I signed up but wanted to know if there is any downside before I submit an article.

Thank you.

I can't think of any downside, really. The stuff you publish remains yours. You make money from a percentage of the ad clicks by supplying your own Adsense code.

It's a residual earning platform. You're not going to make a good bit of money until you get some hubs published and allow them to mature a bit.

Good luck!

I have done some writing for HubPages. I can't think of why I stopped other than having too much other stuff going on. Perhaps I should revive that.

IndianaJana and JenNipps,

Thank you for responding. I haven't been able to do much for the past since Saturday, between storms in my area and family. I am going to try to submit to them, after I catch up with my other article places. So much to do and so little time, but writing articles, I enjoy doing.

Thank you again.

I have a friend that brings in quite a bit of revenue from HubPages monthly, enough to make me think of reviving mine, too.

Seriously, I could nearly live on her passive income.

Wow. May I ask, what does your friend write about? Most of my articles on Suite 101 and Associated Content are on medical issues, travel and recipes. Maybe this is a good place to try.
