View Full Version : Really stupid question (Celtx, page count)

I'm embarrassed to ask this and apologize in advance. I've been using the Celtex program to write my screenplay and can't seem to locate where to go to judge how many pages I have now written. That's it, like I said, really stupid.

It's not a stupid question; plenty of people have asked the same thing.

Near the bottom, you'll see a ribbon that says "Script|Typeset|Scratchpad|Index Cards|Title Page|Reports." Clicking on "Typeset" will show you what your script will look like if it was printed; it's displayed in your usual .pdf format and can be saved as such.

Hope that helps!

Also, if you go to Script in the toolbar up top, then to Format Options and select "pagination" it'll put numbers on the pages onscreen while you type, as well as a running count in the bottom right corner, so you won't have to go to "typeset"

Great, Hang.
I used to go to the TypeSet page and wait each time till the formatting was over to find out how many pages I had.

Thanks that's also very helpful.
