I joined this group a couple days ago and still don't feel too clear on how it works, but it seems great. I want to soon submit some work for the members to critique and read some of the posted work as well. I've taken a couple classes, so I'm not completely in the dark. I started with a screenclass at the Learning Anex in NYC and then took Screenwriting 1 at Gothem in NYC. They got me on my feet as to the basics.

I've written a script that needs continued rewriting and perfecting, so it can go somewhere. Part of me wishes I could go for even more schooling, but it's not possible now. It's on me to do all the hard work that needs to be done and I think being part of this group can give me the fresh air to do that. I think learning goes beyond the first couple classes and basic selection of books that screenwriters swear by(and I have a few that are indespensible to me).

Hey there, welcome, feel free to reply to any threads and air your .02 cents on any subject. Post and comment on script pages to your heart's content.

Alas all scripts need rewriting and perfecting, it's a non-stop ongoing process that only ends if and when someone offers you a check. And maybe not even then.
