itunes malfunction=pissing me off

So today I turned on my itunes and the playlist I have up which usually works fine has gone all wonky. Before, it was on shuffle and it would work the following way: I'd pick a song (or just hit play and it would pick a song). The song would play then go to the next song (#2 on the list) and so on. Today, I turned it on and it started to skip around while on shuffle. The settings in place had not changed at all. I upgraded to 8.2.1 in the hopes it would help but nothing. I like to have it on shuffle because I don't like to hear the same songs in the same order all the time. It's really starting to frustrate me and I don't do well when technology frustrates me.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Please help me fix my dang itunes.

ETA: Ok so I have no clue what I did but it seems to be working now...I think.

Glad you got it to work... but "shuffle" by every other definition means "pick random song to play next." Perhaps you turned it 'on' when you thought it was off. If memory serves, in iTunes, the Shuffle Button is also the Repeat All button. Depending on how many times you've clicked it, you'll either rotate through the list in order or skip around randomly in the list. Or none of the above.

Yeah I'm not sure what I did. I'm just happy it's working.
