During the afternoon, there will also be three symposia: “Playwriting by Design”; “So I’ve Just Graduated From College and I Want to Be a Playwright – Now What?!?” and “The Rights Stuff” Panelists include agents, working writers and faculty from area universities.
The Playreading Festival will feature short plays, selected by a panel including award-winning directors, agents, playwrights and faculty. The judges this year are James Bartz, Sam Bobrick, Sallie Brophy, Roo Brown, Iris Dorbian, Elizabeth Dribben, Donna Inglima, Dan Martin, Marlyn Mason, Rick Sparks, and Larry Strichman.
