All the verse novels I've researched seemed to be geared toward young adult readers. Does anyone know if there have been any adult verse novels? If not, would any adults (hypothetically speaking) be interested in reading a verse novel if it was interesting enough?

The big list at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verse_novel) seems to include adult novels. It looks like there's some interest in them, though it'd probably be a bit niche.

'Golden Gate' by Vikram Seth was a recent bestseller and is absolutely wonderful.

Sharp Teeth, by (I think) Toby Young--a wonderful, gripping read.

Does Rhime of the Ancient Mariner count? Awfully short.
I must read that again, now that it's mentioned.

Hello,
In addition to my own writing method, I shall focus on being more active.

Dorothy Porter - brilliant writer! Check out Akhenaten especially - also El Dorado.
Verse novels are brilliant when they're done well :)
