I realized the good things in life early on and have been a horse lover for as long as I can remember. I read the very first book of the Thoroughbred series in Kindergarten, and continued to read them all throughout school. I recently started working at Barnes and Noble and am taking advantage of my awesome discount by completing the series I have abandoned. I ordered the ones I needed and spent a few minutes on my break looking through them.
The first twenty or thirty books of the series are written by the series creator, Joanna Campbell. Then random people start taking over the writing, though they're still credited on the outside as created by Joanna Campbell. I remember why I stopped reading them in the first place...because these new authors butchered the characters in the storyline. No offense, if any of the new authors are board members.
Now that I've said that: does anyone know how these people got to write these books?
