I actually have a few ideas, a series if you will, and even have access to a camera to make a low budget, guerilla version of the first commercial in the series. Is it even possible to pitch a commercial to a group of companies? Should I just bail out of adverts & stick with all the other stuff I'm doing? Little help...

Most commercials are developed by advertising agencies hired by companies to promote their image. Often they develop a series of commercials that are part of a marketing program. I don't see much opportunity for a freelancer.

Advertising agencies do hire freelance copywriters; my dad was an advertising copywriter for most of his working life (over thirty-five years) , and much of it was freelance for different agencies. I wish I could be more specific, JComp; alas, cancer took his life two years ago.

Hope this helps a little,
