"The dragon takes you to the treasure."
How would I mark it so the reader knows "The dragon takes you to the treasure" and not "The dragon takes you to the treasure."
Is italics OK?

...or you can underline it for emphasis.

Don't use italics. If you absolutely must emphasize a word, underline. But again, only if it’s really necessary. Most newbie writers overuse the emphasizing words thing.

italics because they get lost in the script. They don't stand out enough, especially if the pages get copied and recopied several times.
Underline.
