Rejection

I had originally posted this in the "Submissions Anxiety" discussion. Then I thought perhaps a separate discussion might be a good thing.

So...

If we're talking about fast rejections. One time not too terribly long ago, I sent an e-query to Wee Ones for a children's short story. Must have been short-short, since it was for WO. I got the rejection in less than four hours.

Ouch.

I re-worked it and sent it to LadyBug. I'm still waiting on the response from them.

My next-fastest rejection was a little over a week.

I've received 2 rejections and 1 acceptance within 24 hours. Both were short story submissions.

I guess I don't mind the quick rejections. It's better than the typical waiting game.
