I swear if I get censored one more time on the PA message board I am going to go and kill someone. Someone had made the comment about having to purchase their own books, so I answered them, and because of it I've been banned from the board. Well if the morons that run the board would read the entire post instead of part of it, they'd know what was going on. I swear if it wasn't for the fact that my first book is through them I wouldn't even bother, they are ticking me off more and more each day, I mean it's taken almost a year for them just to get back with me about the book, I haven't seen anything about the cover, and I've fnished two other books by the time they finally got back with me.
They say they are good, my rear end they are good, they are slow and think they are better than anything.

And another one sees the light. I will grab a chair, someone find the t-shirts and make some brownies.
Glad you are here, LV. Stay awhile and check out the rest of the board.

Please, please, please don't give them your second book. I see from the PAMB that you've already sent it in. You can do better than PA! And you'll probably get treated better too.

Interesting that your first post since December is this garbage.
OK, I'm game and I make an excellent prospective victim.
Care to explain?

150 pages is what, under 40,000 words? That's not a book, that's barely a novella.
please take the advice given here and try to NOT give them any more of your work. Better you put it up for free or go through Lulu.com than have PA associated with your name.

I suggest you not sign the contract with them for your second book.

Victoria:
You were here months ago, saying the same thing. Then you returned to PAMB.
So what's the deal?

150 pages is what, under 40,000 words?
According to my files, 109 pages (of a PA manuscript) is roughly 28,500. In Word, the same word count comes out to 60 pages.

Ask yourself why they'd, (PA), censor you at all?
Why would they want to control the content?
What content do they allow, verus the content they delete?
Why?
The content they leave is the content that keeps authors in the dark.
The content they delete is the content that turns the light on.
They want authors to buy books, and only books.
If you buy your own books, you're self published.
They won't release me from my contract.
