Short story thread.

I just posted the first page of a short story over in share your work, it is listed under contemporary/mainstream, called first page critique. It's about an old Indian named Red Wolf thinking about his people and their past present and future, It take place a little while after Wounded Knee, which I will get to a little later in the story. Read and comments made. I'd watch using too much about Wounded Knee (not totally overworked but hard to follow Dustin Hoffman). Can you refer to Wounded Knee but pick another event that's not so well known to use as your main interest item? Puma

No, wounded knee will be refered to but not really a major part of the story.
