Just wanted to apologize for all who may have noticed my inundating of the forum lately and have caused annoyance to.
I had a real great conversation with my younger brother, who loves literature but doesn't write much, and it opened my eyes, I mean really opened my eyes, to a lot of things, and it has changed my writing immensely.
Most importantly, it's made me feel more connected to what I write than ever, which I know should be a given, but I'm sure we've all written poems only to later look at in disbelief that we wrote it.
It also, just as importantly, has made it fun again. So, this being summer, me being literally fresh out of college (2 months sober), I had the time to go on a bit of a tear. And I appreciate everything everyone has said to help me improve the pieces I have written so far, as it's all been very valuable.
So, that's the mea culpa. I obviously will continue to post, but I'll look to crit a bit more and see if I can't learn for your works, edit myself a bit more and then put new pieces on the block.
Thanks all. I know I probably didn't have to do this to most of you, but I wanted to.
Incase you couldn't tell, this wasn't an experimental poem, this was a real letter to the forum. Jk! Lame. Drew Berrymore-lame ;)
Alright, back to the writing board!
