I know several PA authors are here, my question is...what are some of the most outlandish ploys you have ever pulled out of your hat to sell your PA book? Got any funny stories?

Buying copies of my own book...that was one of the most outlandish ploys I ever attempted.

I highly recommend NO ONE follow in my footsteps on that one (for all those lurkers out there)...

I know the guy from Poteau was using info boards and lies to sell books, just wondering what others have done.

Basically what Aston said. I never did anything too outlandish but I did buy a few copies of my own book, and I now wish I had not.
