I was going to put this in the Poetry forum, but considering the subject matter, I thought maybe this would be more appropriate.

I'd love to hear about your impressions.

Playful are they
Yet serious in their calling
Spirit guides among us
Guardians of our souls

Who among us has not seen
Their prompts to pay attention
And awaken
From the dream of reality

Blind and unresponsive
Some faulter on their journey
Unaware of God’s minions
Sent so we can grow

What end will become
Of this indifference to our being
The midways retreat home
Saddened it was for naught?

I like your poem. It's beautifully written and moved me. Be at peace with God, you say. How does one achieve such a thing?

Oh, how nice, erika! Thank you for reading and I'm really glad you liked it as is.

As for your question - I guess that's a pretty personal thing isn't it. My conclusion is that it all boils down to just acceptance, no questions asked. Works for me - doesn't for all.

Thanks again!
