I just got done reading The Brat Pack by Rick Veitch, who cowrote Swamp Thing with Alan Moore. I thought it was incredible. It was no Watchmen, but nothing is. An interesting look into the kid sidekick phenom, and what would an adult's real motivation be for having one.

Has anyone else read this, or The Maximortal? I saw that there was supposed to be to more Super Specials that were crossovers for both of these graphic novels.

Is it about THE Brat Pack?

Someone should write a book about them. Is this it?

They are my idols.

I think this might be comic book related, but I got excited when I saw the thread title.

Nope.

The Brat Pack is the nickname of all the kid sidekicks, who are loosely based on kid sidekicks from comics. Chippy (Robin), Wild Boy (Speedy), Kid Vicious (Bucky), and Luna (Wonder Girl). It's sort of a gritty, morbid, and depressing version of the original Teen Titans.

I never heard of it, but it sounds pretty cool. Maybe I'll check it out.
