Mother Tries to Sell Son to Pay for Wedding Dress

Yikes! According to the article (http://www.kcci.com/news/10050379/detail.html), this woman was buying a wedding dress from a street vendor. (A street vendor?!) She didn't have the full amount, so she paid part of it and then she offered her four-year-old son as collateral!

That child and her other child (ten years old) have now been placed in state custody, and she could face as much as ten years in prison. A place where people might use her as collateral.

Wow. I had no idea my kids could be worth as much as a whole wedding dress. I'll have to reconsider keeping them.
