Just wondering if anyone knows of any other active romance writing forums out on the WWW. I love Absolute Write but want to add a couple more "stops" to my day.
Thanks! <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif" />

Also a bunch of writing forums on www.delphiforums.com
I'm on "Romance Writers" and we're pretty active but close knit.

If you're interested in writing category romance (okay, not just category, because H/S have Mira, and they also are branching out in many other ST areas, too) you can check out www.eHarlequin.com (http://www.eharlequin.com/). At the top, click on Communities. There's a Writing Romance area with many different threads. The editors often stop by, give advice, answer questions. It's a great place.

The recent Predators and Editors Poll seemed to have some romance-specific groups rated highly in their workshop list.

Ken--finished your book several days ago and really enjoyed it. My e-mail's been down; just got it fixed. Here's a quote: "An old-fashioned civil war romance. Lots of fast-paced action makes this a fun read."
Good luck with the book, and thanks for the chance to read it. take care, Kat ps I am currently writing a novel titled Scent of Roses. It's a ghost story. Like the name but the publisher will probably change it. kat martin.

Forward Motion has a romance writing forum, including critique groups. The link for joining Forward Motion (which is free) is here:
http://fmwriters.com/community/dc/dcboard.php?az=register
I'm not sure if there are any critique circles currently open, but there is a place where you can get a critique even if you don't belong to a particular circle.
BTW even if you don't join a critique circle, it's a big site with lots of stuff, for writers of almost every genre. I get a lot of use from the scheduled brainstorming sessions on Friday and Sunday night. I got some of my best ideas from suggestions in those sessions, including the Eye of Peering -- a magical device that watched my characters when they were boinking. :D
