It's nice to see a list like that, the reviews are informative, I may check out a few of those books.

What about sharing some of the little known gems we have stumbles across too?
I would recommend:
- "Out Stealing Horses" by Norwegian writer Per Petterson.
- "The Half-Brother" by Norwegian writer Lars Saabye Christensen.
- "Angels of the Universe" by Icelandic writer Einar Mar Gudmundsson.
OK; all of these 3 writers are well-known in their home country, but might not be so known abroad. They are all well worth reading.
