Hi, all --

Here's a link (http://www.blackbird.vcu.edu/v5n2/poetry/plath_s/ennui.htm), sent along by William Haskins, to the recently discovered Plath work.

It's also available on his new writers' site, www.authorscoop.com (http://www.authorscoop.com/).

Enjoy, discuss, and drop by William's place.

thanks, p! i love sylvia, though this work seemed a LOT different than anything in the volume I know, Ariel.

Wow. You can hear the classicism that marked a lot of her early work in this poem -- and it is quite nice (that's a bonus!). Sometimes reading Sylvia makes me despair of ever being a poet.

And the hint of more to be unearthed -- we'll be excited about her for some time to come.

I cherish my copy of SP's Collected Works but this new discovery doesn't do much for me. I had a weak feeling of "so what" after reading it. Apt title tho.

I've got the Complete Sylvia Plath Works (this one too) in digital form ... lift it from a Secret Insiders University Library. Snif, its lifted material and copy righted ... so nah nah no go!

Oh Dark Sylvia, she's wonderful but yes 'dark' is the word ... I think.
