My next step

I'm more than half way through a 1st. draft, but I'm now seeing flaws and things I should have done differently.

Should I go back and fix these things, or should I finish the draft and fix it in the revision stage.

Finish what you started. You'll find more things you will want to change in subsequent drafts, but if you keep looking over your shoulder, you eventually end up hitting trees or going nowhere.

write down the flaws. then, fix them in next draft. slog through this draft - forget the flaws. they never go away
