Hi,

Writing a great logline is hard work.

Condensing an entire movie into a single line seems impossible/

From my experience, the condensing process takes time. Allow it.

I feel it's best to have a journey implied, a sense of the hero, and a sense of the character change at the outcome.

A hero with a flaw struggles to attain a worthwhile goal and is changed absolutely beyond all doubt.

There are many free articles at the site relating to loglines.

Best wishes,

As in novel, start with the central character(s) in a place/setting with a problem, then add the climatic/central conflict.

This is by no means great, but an example of what I'm talking about:
"Betrayed by his ex-lover and late father, an Asian-American must cross the Pacific to find the meaning of his life through webs of deceptions and lies."
