Heh. King sold the film rights to The Dark Tower to these guys for $19.
I love that.

I'm going to wait and see what Abrams does with the new Star Trek film before I get excited over him doing Dark Tower.
I mean, "Lost" was a hit two years ago, Abrams' last new show "Six Degrees" got canned after a handful of episodes, and no one singing the praises of Mission: Impossible 3. The man needs to get his magic back before he tackles another potential franchise.

Abrams was good with Mi:3, but yeah, I'd like to see what he does with Star Trek The Academy.
Still, I think King may be onto something. $19? He should have sold it to me and my filmmaking buddies. :)
