I am currently writing a script based on poking fun at the millions of different reality TV shows their is, and I want to start with a mock version of the beginning sequence to COPS where they show different clips of cops in action but I am struggling to figure out how to write it on a script professionally, should I use cut to: between the clips or not basically I havn't got a clue so if any one has please let me know.

Thanks a bunch

Montage.

You can write it in asuch a way as...

MONTAGE SEQUENCE of.... and then you describe in loose terms the kind of scenes that'll be included.

Or

MONTAGE... and then break down the shots/scenes in the montage is bullet form.

Unless you have something specific IN the montage, you can probably go with the looser first version.

Ordinarily you wouldn't really include any "directions" as to the way the thing is filmed, but here I think you could include that there would be lots of wobbling steady-cam shots, to add to the tone of the montage that you are showing.
