What do you think the hardest part of writing and publishing is?

I'll echo one of vein's points. Publishing is the hardest part of writing.

I'd go along with that. Sometimes I trawl through a whole basketful of sites, and finally discover one that might possibly fit something I've written. Then the email usually bounces. :teeth

Yep, finding approporiate markets is hell. And you just know that the email will either bounce or be met with an eternal silence... I have a dozen subs lost somewhere in limbo at the moment.

Of course, one particular problem I find with writing erotica is that, if I'm writing well, I sometimes get... um, distracted. :gone
