I'm outlining a horror script right now too, my first horror. I'm planning on writing it during ScriptFrenzy in June.

Seems like horror is the popular genre right now.

Write what you desire. If you try and second guess what's hot, you'll always be one step behind the industry.

Of course, genre films, like horror, are always more marketable, but don't try and write the next Disturbia because by the time it hit the theatre, a dozen other scripts on the same feel have already made their way around town.

Just write what you feel passionate about.

Agreed... it's an idea I've been mulling over for about a year or so and scriptfrenzy seemed like a good time to put it on paper.
