I'm going all 3 days this year & will be volunteering Thursday evening during early registration. If anyone's interested in meeting-up, dishin' the dirt on workshops/presenters, forming a support &/or crit group, or just teaming up to scope the table with the best agents at the Italian Buffet Friday night, let me know.

I can wear lime green so I'll stand out in the crowd. :)

Might I suggest that you include the dates--and where Willamette is, for the uninitiated?

The first writing convention I ever attended was in a city within an hour of me, but if it'd been named for that city, I'd never have realized it was close. It just wasn't on my radar.

Maryn, geographical idiot

Not a bad idea. :e2hammer:

Willamette Writers' Conference will be at the Portland [OR] Airport Sheraton August 3-5. I guess I'm still surprised when anyone responds to anything I say here.

I have a big star on that workshop, sounds like a good one. That's cool you'll be able to meet him even if you won't be at a conference.

Thanks for posting the URL, I probably should've but didn't think of it.
