View Full Version : Dawno's CafePress Shop

Back when we had the AW Shutdown, I opened a little CafePress shop (http://www.cafepress.com/ohdawnos) to help raise funds for whatever needed financial support - whether it be a hosting fees, legal fees or just to support the ongoing AW costs.

I didn't do much marketing of the store then, but with so many folk getting together via the Regional Meet and Greet forum, and the NasFic convention coming up, I wanted to remind folk they can identify each other pretty easily with AW Logo gear :D

I've also got other items with Yog's Law and Learn Writing With Uncle Jim themes - permission and courtesy of Uncle Jim.

The AW Logo tee-shirts and other logo items have been updated with the new AW logo. Remember - all proceeds after CafePress takes its cut, go to AW - not Dawno. I've kept the prices as low as I can and still send a buck or two to AW from most purchases.

Very cool shop. I want the professional author shirt. . .LOVE IT! Now I just need to actually get paid for what I write then I can wear it. Hmm, I smell motivation.

Thanks, Dawno.
I had forgotten about the shop. I'm glad you reminded us. I see a couple of things I'd like to order. :)

I'm also happy to take "custom" orders - if there's an image you want to see on something not shown, let me know, I'll add it to the store.

(Does that mean you'll do a shirt with Ray's torso?)

uh - I think there might be some copyright problems using the image...:)

What about non-fiction writers? "I tell the truth to total strangers for money"?

Dawno

Has potential, Lloyd - would you buy one if I put it up? and on what? There are lots of choices - many I don't even have in the store yet - hoodies, boxershorts, golf shirts...

would you buy one if I put it up?

No.

I just saw a whole group of people being marginalized, and I had to call you on it.

Kidding, of course. Telling lies for free.

I wouldn't dream of marginalizing non-fic writers! Basically, that's what I do (blogging). Thing is, all my graphics (but one) were donated - and none of the donors were non-fic writers!

I'm going to make this a sticky at the top of the forum. :)

Why, thank you! I hope we can raise a couple dollars for AW. :)

I'd probably buy a coffee mug with the new AW logo on it.

I don't see them listed, but they're available. A friend sent me one recently as a gift. I'm using it at this very moment, in fact. :)

I'm using a plain maroon mug- with very strong coffee.
cheers!

I'd probably buy a coffee mug with the new AW logo on it.

I'll see if I can get permission from Mac to put logo mugs up. She has to make that call.

Pacific Between?
That would be up to Ray - his publisher owns the rights to the cover and I can't use it without permission.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Bump.

I can't buy anything that says I lie for a living, I write memoirs.

I like the Yog's Law coffee mug though.

Wayne, I can make a shirt up for memoir and non-fic - just give me some ideas, I'd be happy to add them to the store. Would be a bonus if it was specifically AW Non-Fic Writer themed, too.

Wasn't there a coffee mug with the AW logo?

I just browsed through--some very cool stuffs, Miss Dawno.

But where oh where are the Horror Hounds Shirts and mugs??? I need one in the worst way... "Absolute Horror Hound" with the AW URL. I have no artistic skills, or I'd offer up a logo, but I'd buy a shirt, mug and tote with the houndage on it. Maybe a pic of a cerberus or something like that. I dunno... but I looked for a hounds shirt and found none. :( Who coined the term "Horror Hound" around here anyway? Liam, wasn't it? I think Haggis said it was Liam, but I can't remember where or when. Anyway, I'd buy some hounds stuffs. :D *cough-hint-cough*

Thank you Dawno!

Dawno, is there any way to add long-sleeved t-shirts? (I adore long-sleeved t-shirts.) Congrats on hubby's return!

I thought that your wares looked familiar to me. I was also a vendor at LosCon 38. Two tables behind you. The people at the convention loved your lanyards and were showing them off to me as they shopped my table. You have a nicely made specialty product.

Anyway, its a small world. I don't often find fellow vendors on the internet by accident. :)
