That's fun Nancy! I had a lot of fun picking out names when I was pregnant, and now picking out character names. I'm sure many AWers will visit your blog for ideas.

I've been on your site a few times and the thing about it that I love is that it's more than just a list of baby names like very other baby name site out there. The recent interview with Anneliese, for example--disliking forms with only 8 letter slots? I never would've considered that! Telling how rare it is in comparison to other names? Love it.

I like how you have the posts categorized, too. Instead of just alphabetical options or by boy/girl choices, you split it up by syllables, type, etc, too. Quite a bit more extensive than I ever thought I'd see in a baby name site. :)

What am I not fond of? Um, at first glance, it's kind of plain. The blue and pink keep it simple, which I like, but had I just randomly stumbled across the site, I probably would've kept going because nothing immediately grabbed my attention. I'm glad to see you have a favicon, but it doesn't exactly match or tie in with the rest of your layout....why don't you have something in blue or pink or at least in the same font as your banner?

You should be linked on all the baby sites as a great baby name resource. But also, you are interesting to read just because you have those interviews and interesting name articles like the one from the gravestones. That was fascinating. And I loved your one hit wonder names and the names from different areas. I wonder if you will run out of interesting ways to provide this information and then what will you do? ;)

I've always liked your blog Nancy so I'm a bit biased in my opinion of it. I think the categories you have are fantastic and if I were searching for a baby name you've made it fairly straightforward - i.e. 1 or 2 syllable.

I like the background, I think it's very clean looking and the ads on your site are not in your face.

I haven't been to your blog in a while though, did you always have 3 columns? I'm going to say that scrolling down, once the sidebar items at the top are gone it looks as though your content is just hanging there - your January 3rd posting would be an example of that for me.
