Can someone please help me identify the genre of this book idea?

Jenny Aphrolite’s life changed forever when she accidentally burned her house to the ground and killed her aunt and uncle. But what happened next further internally destroys her. Already blamed for a series of graffiti at school, the citizens of Saint Lincoln now pass judgment on her based only on these events.

All she has left is her grandfather Hubert and few friends. With their help, Jenny struggles to piece up the pieces of her life and move on. But how can she if many refuse to let her forget the past?

Not helping is Iref, a dragon comprised entirely out of fire that haunts her nightmares; nor does the fact that the incident she unintentionally caused left her a pyrophobic.

Well....Young Adult for starters. Sorry, that's all I got.

Yep. Sounds like it takes place in YA surroundings and has a young protagonist. I'd say it's YA, unless there's something that knocks it out of that category..

Just working off that blurb I would call it Young Adult Urban Fantasy.

Maybe just YA for now, or YA mainstream, because if the dragon is part of just her nightmares...then it's not quite urban fantasy, in my mind.

True. I was working off the assumption that there is a dragon made of fire and the setting does sound urban to me. But if it is all internal and there isn't any real dragon, then just YA will do.
