:flag:See?
Even though I've been *in the business* for awhile now, getting into blog mode has been a tough transition. Not only is the writing different from what I'm used to, but the design of a blog is different from what I'm used to designing. So, both aspects have been a huge learning experience.
So, I ask . . . how have I been doing (http://www.jennhollowell.blogspot.com)? What needs to change? What is okay as it is?
:e2tomato: I *can* handle the truth! **runs away to hide in corner**

*The bajaffe peeks around the doorway into the room and sniffs. Seems safe enough. No lions, tigers, or bears. Ambles into the the center of the room and clears her throat. AHEM*
I pronounce Jenn's blog quite nifty! There, I said it.
Actually, I'm a little envious that you have a knack for the use of your space, with pictures and text arranged to be pleasing to the eye. Your voice is a nice mixture of the professional/personal Jenn. I like it.

Thank you, Amy! I appreciate your kinds words a LOT! :D
I was getting REALLY nail-biting-ly nervous when no one responded. I couldn't decide if it was because no one knows this blog reviews area even exists or because people DO know and my blog is terrible. LOL
Anyone else???? ;)

Your subtitle beneath your title - it gives a quick snapshot into the types of posts we're likely to find. Good!
Your About Me - minor nitpick. I'd prefer it if your text wrapped at the side of your photo rather than being entirely underneath.
Colour scheme - nice and soothing with high contrast between text and background. Works for my pathetic eyesight.
You've got images with most (all?) of your posts. Excellent. (Something I would do better at doing.)
Checklist of other places to find you. Good.
Um. Spelling error in your blogroll. Musings from the Mitton should be Mitten. Urp.
The titles. Catchy. The content. Well written.
Really, if the worst things I can come up with is text not wrapping around your photo and a misspelled word, then yeah, you're doing more than fine. :)
ETA: Actually, I do have one more possible quibble. While the subtitle beneath your blog title is descriptive of what you do, it's also a bit wordy. I think it could do with tightening up. Make sure it stays descriptive, but give it more punch. It's the second sentence that makes me say this.

I'd prefer it if your text wrapped at the side of your photo rather than being entirely underneath. I agree - it doesn't flow like the rest of the page set up where images are found. It's a blogger default, though, and I haven't learned how to over-ride it yet. Does anyone know how to do this or do I have to live with how it looks? Colour scheme - nice and soothing with high contrast between text and background. Works for my pathetic eyesight.Thank you! :D
You've got images with most (all?) of your posts. Excellent. (Something I would do better at doing.) Thank you! :D I got the idea from some artists I admire who are blogging - I thought it added a creative, yet clean, twist to the posts. Checklist of other places to find you. Good. Thank you! :DUm. Spelling error in your blogroll. Musings from the Mitton should be Mitten. Urp.Whhops! LOL That's what I get for relying on copy/paste mode without paying attention. I'll fix that . . . *blush* The titles. Catchy. The content. Well written.Thank you! :D Really, if the worst things I can come up with is text not wrapping around your photo and a misspelled word, then yeah, you're doing more than fine. :)I appreciate you taking the time to check things out! :D ETA: Actually, I do have one more possible quibble. Again, thank you for the review! I appreciate the feedback and the pointing out of boo-boo's! :D
