After many months of writing, editing, and re-writing I have found someone to beta my script!

I have full trust of the person whos is reading it for me b/c they are my history/government/economics teacher. They are also very knowlegeable of literature and grammar b/c they used to be the English teacher.

I have to give it to them in 20 page sections at first b/c we are in crunchtime in the third quarter to get our grades up (not mine I'm one of the fortunate few).

I hope they will help me and I can get this out to some contests and queries.

This is so great I can hardly put it into words!

Excellent! A good beta reader is so wonderful, and difficult, to find. Treat yours well!

Maryn, glad for you (and a serious Sox fan)

So my beta reads the first five scenes with me standing there, and after pointing out one incorrect use of dialouge and two typo's she says to me "I absoulutely love it, it is great."

I hope she gives it back to me on Tuesday, so I can fix my mistakes and give her the next 20 pages

She said she'd rather work on a 20 page a weekend schedule, I mean she is my economics/history teacher for crying out loud. I'm just glad she could find time to do it

Thats all for now

Ah cool. It's always good to get feed back :) I recently got myself a reader too. Chris Cooke, a UK writer and directer, he did One For The Road and is working on one at the moment. I'm taking any feedback off him as gold dust as he's doing what I want to be doing.

In the future, I recommend you not stand there while your work is beta-read. Go find a drinking fountain or read a bulletin board. You want the beta's complete, undivided, and critical attention.
