This is my first attempt at a blog.the minimalistic look to it is not purely a conscious choice from my part but it mirrors my lack of experience and skill.
I'm not not a real big fan of blogs in general so I've tried to make something that is a paradigm of my real life and try to incorporate a kind of "poetic" angle.
I've hope it doesn't come across as too fake or pretentious.
Any feedback would be very helpful as I'm totally new to blogging and even just writing in general.

Hey --

I like the minimalist look. You can change the background colors in that template if you want, but as far as I'm concerned? It is just great as you have it.

My only comment is you need to preview your posts and insert breaks if there are not any between paragraphs. Having the space between makes it easier to read.

That's really it for me. I hope you find blogging enjoyable. I find it very healing.

I like the minimalistic look to it myself ,but I was afraid it was going to look too generic.

As I'm new to writing, I'm still learning the basic techniques and most important of all I think is finding my style and flow of writing.

I too find blogging a very healing.
I can quickly write something that mirrors my life, and in that way a unburden a lot of thoughts that would otherwise be gnawing inside my head.
