Very nice shot, btw. Love the big sky and curved horizon and how your boy seems almost lost amid the expanse of his surroundings.

^ What he said... I love the stark simplicity of the landscape.

This is the hill (former landfill, former celery farm) at Celery Fields. That tiny little dot at the top? My 7-year-old son. He ran that hill four or five times. :e2thud: Oh, for the energy...

Uh, that came out really strange. Having trouble with Photobucket...

Actually, I really like this pic. The perspective and composition really catches my eye. Great photo, Jude.

It needs some food cows in it though. :D

Heyjude, I was trying to figure out how to resize images in PB as well since they changed the format (which I hate). It's looking like you can't do it anymore, which really, really sucks because now you have to resize the image in another program before you can upload it to PB, whereas before you had size options to choose from before uploading the image. Not liking it at all. Takes even more time to upload images than before. There is an option to go back to the previous version of PB, but it'll be a matter of time before that's taken away.

Ha! That osprey's What the hell are you looking at? gaze seems familiar.

And sometimes it comes across like this: :)

Ooh... that goes past 'what the hell are you looking at' straight to 'if you don't leave me the *bleep* alone imma peck out your eyeballs and use them as fish bait, buddy!

Glad I am not the only one - it's a pain the butt!!!

I resize photos taking a screen-snap on my Mac and then upload the smaller snap. But that's just me. I've always done that.

The drag an drop is a pain, cause now you have to move the PB window over to the side and find a pic/file of the image rather than just scrolling through the name.

Plus it takes twice as many steps to get to the GIF for AW!!! I mean, I thought 'improvement/upgrade' meant better?!

I'm not liking the new PB upgrade either. :/ I tried to go back to the old one, but it won't let me. :e2bummed:

Looks like you really ruffled that osprey's feathers, SK. :D Man, if looks could kill...

Oh, and Tidbit is doing well. I've been following the line of Harvester Ants in the front yard and collecting 'food' for him in little gladware/tupperware [LOL!]. So he's well fed, and enjoying it. :D

I have to say that this is probably my favorite shot of an osprey (and there have been many great shots in this thread). I think the ruffled look makes it seem more careworn than usual, yet more fierce for it.

Ah, I see Tidbit is ready for Christmas! I think you're spoiling that hornytoad a wee bit much, pd. :e2tongue: Next you'll be putting tiny bows on the ants for him.

I love it, Jude. It would have been easier for you if you'd had more protein in your diet. :D

I hear chihuahua is chock-full of protein! :evil

Is there another photo program we like? I don't know how to resize first, but I guess I should learn, huh? We're going on vacation next week and I'm sure I'll have more to share then!

heyjude, there is a way to resize in Photobucket:

In the menu bar, click 'Edit' and select a photo
A window should pop up with editing options on the bottom
Select 'Adjustment'
Another set of options pops up, select 'Resize'
Type in the size you want

Hope this helps! I don't like Photobucket's new format either, it's more complicated, but I suppose more versatile.

Well by golly, you're right! But they had to go and make things all complicated. It was more simple to use before.
