What does a creative director in a literary agency do? Submitted a manuscript to an agent and the creative director responded asking to chat. Not sure how to prepare for the call.

I'd guess marketing in any other industry. Not sure if it translates here.

Quick update in case anyone ever comes across the same situation. The creative director is also an agent (in this case). She works with the client to strengthen the manuscript before submission. (Though I've had other agents do the same w/o the creative director title). I received an offer of rep. In the end, decided on another agent.
