So... Is the glass half-full or half-empty?

For me it's half-full,
for my brother it's half-empty.
My husband's keeps magically refilling
My father-in-law's glass is cracked and leaking.
My mother's is just enough to take her pills
My father's is dry
My sister-in-law's contains no artifical sweetners
And my mother-in-law glass is never big enough.

I'm usually full to the brim. I'm obnoxiously happy most of the time.

I'm a Realist.

The glass isn't half full. The glass isn't half empty. It's just a glass with vodka in it.

I'm of the bigger glass clique, ever-full, the hot stuff staying hot and the cold stuff with ice not melting and leaving little runnels of condensation on the outside making the glass slippery then I drop it, breaking it and losing the beverage d'jour and bitch and moan until I get a new one. Pout. :}

New; it's always darkest before the dawn,
--unless you're in the South Pole with 6 month day/night cycle then that takes on a whole new meaning since dawn can be 180 days away.

Then for those who sleep til the crack of noon, dawn is a zen concept, (so is the crack thereof) actualizing only in the most profound visualizations of navel-contemplation.

For me, the glass is either overflowing or there isn't even a glass at all.

The glass is always half full, but I can see right through it . . . which makes me think it's empty, further confusing the whole situation.

Half empty. Going by my past history in certain parts of my life, I have to conclude the same will be so long into the future.

I'm an engineer, and the glass being only half full obviously indicates that the glass has twice its needed capacity.

Apparently, this new adage to play off of went overlooked:
New; it's always darkest before the dawn,
--unless you're in the South Pole with 6 month day/night cycle then that takes on a whole new meaning since dawn can be 180 days away.

Then for those who sleep til the crack of noon, dawn is a zen concept, (so is the crack thereof) actualizing only in the most profound visualizations of navel-contemplation.

I'm in the "crack of noon" camp. So is a friend of mine who actually named his construction firm "Crack of Noon Contractors."
