I live in a decent neighborhood. It's not great, but it isn't bad by any means. However, I have lived in places where expect to hear the sheriff's helicopters circling. And we still get them out here on occasion. Like today, I am sitting in my office and I hear the copter circling. They are announcing something over the PA system. I can hear, "white cap....black clothes....carrying a.....call...."
So what do I do, I walk outside to hear better.
Not five minutes later I hear the same sheriff announcing, "Face on the ground. This is the Sheriff's Department." The helicopter is circling the apartments next to ours.
It made me wonder why I felt the need to walk outside when I heard the first announcement.
