I had a cat named Gidgimidge, which is supposed to mean Asshole in Miq'Maq. I had a cat named Sabado (Sabby), a dog named Quasanche (Quassy). Later, we got Chester the dog and Ridley the cat.

My sister had a dog named Yukon Jack, and another relative had two small dogs, Shakespeare and Hemingway (Shaker and Hemmy).

We also had a beagle named Snoopy. Go figure.

Our cat was named "Muse". She was supposed to inspire our writing, but instead attacked the paper as it came out of the printer.
