What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful we're able to provide my stepkids with a home while their mom is homeless and forced to bunk at a friend's house with her demon child.

Also thankful we didn't need to take in the demon child.

I am thankful for what I have learned this past year and for those who provided the lessons - both the good and the bad.

I am thankful for being able to learn from my mistakes.

I'm thankful that the church that I work for still pays me even when I mess up badly playing for them (I'm still not very good, but they pay me anyway, I'm soo appreciative of that)

i'm thankful for those moment when my sisters pop in on me when I'm doing my homework and they do something that makes me laugh. it really helps relieve stress.
(my sister came in with a balloon and we took turns breathing in some of the helium and talking in high-pitched voices, I sounded like when Eezma turned into a kitty in "The Emporer's New Groove" LOL it was pretty funny)

I'm thankful for this thread. It's makes me take a step back and really think about all the great things that I have. Like whipped cream. And pickles. And friends who don't care about the pickle breath and come to share my whipped cream.

The pies are spilling over in the oven, their juices are burning and smoking up the house. I'm thankful I baked them today and have 3 days to air the house out before my Thanksgiving guests arrive.

I can relate to that. My husband, mother, sister, and brother have been very supportive of my writing, and very encouraging.

I've been thrilled at how into my story my husband has been. For awhile, I was afraid to let him read it. Then when I did, I was very pleasantly surprised.
