Morning! I think we might go into town for some shopping today! And, on top of all the Christmas stress...I got a call from the HR department of the university I applied to back in October. They're application said that if they hadn't gotten back to us in 6 weeks, we should consider ourselves not candidates. Well...I just got a call, and they've scheduled me for an interview on the 22nd!! Sooooo...now I'm nervous, stressed, and trying to figure out how to get there without a car (it's a 45 minute drive). Woohoo!

How's everyone else?

Good morning,all.
I 'm doing fine,CR. How are you this morning?

My soon to be five year old just announced that he doesn't want to be five. He prefers four.

I've caught YA fever! I have another series in the works and it's pretty fun. I finally left my vampire alone. Now I have to edit. I'm writing my query. Again. I HATE the damned things. GRRRR.

Wishing you all happy writing and blessings!

Ahh, I see Kitty!

I'm actually on a 6 week break from school. It's been pretty sweet! I've been writing a novel I'm planning on finishing within 24 days by December 31 after I started on the 8th. So far I'm ahead of schedule!

So yeah, that's my news!

Nice on the YA series and I'm excited for when you start sending out queries!

Good luck!

:hooray: Good Luck Common!

Morning everyone!

Sick today and have already argued and made up with DH, now my mom's emailing me and on my last nerve.

I knew I should've stayed in bed today!

On the bright side, we're up to 175 OPWFT Tweeps!

OMG OMG OMG!

I am so excited right now!

My intuition or something guided me to write this dream he has, and little did I know it would also foreshadow something that happens later! It fits so perfectly! OMG!

Morning Peeps!

Ugh, I'm about waist deep to knee deep in grading now....I was up the nose. God, if I survive this week.

And to add insult to serious injury, I had a dream about YP last night...a good one. Kill me, srsly, someone kill me for being this old and not having better judgement!!!

Who or what is YP? :)

He's the bane of my exhistance....lol. No, he's a young minister at my church I've had a crush on since like, oh, May. He's four years younger than me,and even though I'm as old as I am, I'm acting like I'm in middle school.

the truth is I've been through some bad crap with men and don't want to put myself out there, especially for a guy who'll have to get up and preach the word in front of me, lol. It's hard to hate a man of God if things don't work out!

YP = Yummy Pants (a.k.a. a dude she daydreams about, but doesn't have the balls to ask him to lunch, dinner, etc.) He's also her pastor. :)

HAHA, he's not the pastor, lol.

But yeah, I got YP from an episode of Reba where Barbara Jean was in love with their pastor, and she nicknamed him Reverend Yummypants...

It's so bad that my Grammy and my mom's best friend calls him Yummypants! LOL

DUDE - we're this close (thumb and finger are VERY close together) to coming down there and planning an intervention. Make your move woman! :D Pastors need smex too, right? LOL - at the very least, he needs food. I'm plotting scenarios and will be emailing them to you.

Oh God, Sunday was so bad. He talks to my grandmother for like five minutes while I'm talking to someone else. I walk up, say one thing, he smiles and laughs, and then srsly, the man becomes Jesse Owens and sprints out the freakin' door.

Sighs....and if one more person wants to fix me up with someone hideous, er, um, someone I'm not interested in, I'm going to scream! Especially the metrosexual guy at church that I'm not interested in. Ugh!

Little sis, tell Krista that asking someone out to lunch isn't considered a date, but could possibly have side effects such as: momentary loss of speech, drooling, rambling on about nothing, nausea, the sudden urge to pee, accidental spilling of drinks, dropping forks/spoons, and in general--being a total klutz.

Disclaimer: there's no need to see your physician. These are normal side effects. However, they may vary. Just saying.

How about you ask him to go after church on Sunday to your Grammy's for food and an interview about RTD. Make some crap up and tell him you want to get his perspective (even religious men have egos I'm sure) on your book. Then do a blog about it or something. Seems to be a good tie in that says - I'm not asking cuz you're hawt and I want to have your babies - I'm asking because, as a "professional", I would like your "professional" opinion. THEN maybe next time, it can be for personal reasons after you ease into it. How 'bout that?
